This award is an improvement on the Gold Medal Speedy Hire received previously, which placed it in the top 5% of companies globally.\nThe EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The rating system is based on internationally recognised principles and standards, such as the Global Reporting Initiative and the UN Global Compact, that Speedy Hire is aligned to.\n \nDecade to Deliver\nAs part of its wider 'Decade to Deliver' ESG strategy, Speedy Hire has set targets to achieve net-zero emissions by 2040, ten years ahead of the UK government deadline.
