This presentation is being made at the 39th Annual Oak Ridge\nConference, entitled "Harnessing New Technology for Clinical Diagnostics".\n\n\nThe presentation outlines performance characteristics, as well as the\nsafety and effectiveness, of the assay. Included in the data are results from\nstudies at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg, where Spectral's\nassay was found to correlate with the gold standard test, the Plaque Reduction\nand Neutralization (PRNT) assay, and 100 % of the time in acute cases of West\nNile infection. The PRNT assay takes weeks to perform and requires specialized\ntechnicians and equipment.
