(TSX: SDI) today\nannounced the placement of its proprietary sepsis diagnostics system, the\nEndotoxin Activity Assay (EAA(TM)) at the Klinikum Grosshadern, of the\nLudwig-Maximillians University of Munich. The clinical usage of the assay will\nbe directed by Dr. Eugen Faist, Professor of Surgery.\n\nProfessor Faist is a recognized world leader in the areas of Sepsis and\nTrauma. He will be the Congress Chairman for the 7th World Congress on Trauma,\nShock, Inflammation and Sepsis to be held in Munich, Germany in March 2007,\nwhere further studies on the clinical utility of the EAA(TM) will be presented\nby speakers from around the world.\n\n\"This placement is another significant step in the commercialization of\nSpectral's EAA(TM) assay\" stated Dr. Paul Walker, President and CEO of\nSpectral. \"We are very pleased to be working with Dr. Faist because of his\nextensive experience and solid reputation in the area of sepsis and critical\ncare\".\n\n\"We are pleased to have the EAA(TM) installed in our hospital.
