(TSX: SDI) today\nannounced that it has entered into a exclusive distribution agreement in\nRussia with BB Medical for Spectral's Endotoxin Activity Assay (EAA(TM)), the\nonly FDA cleared assay for the measurement of endotoxin. Under the terms of\nthe agreement, BB Medical will market and sell EAA(TM) throughout the Russian\nFederation.\n\n\n"BB Medical is a leading distributor of medical technologies in Russia.\nTheir significant market reach in this region will help to strengthen our\npresence in yet another geographic territory - a key component in the global\ncommercialization strategy for our EAA(TM) product," said Dr. Paul Walker,\nPresident and CEO of Spectral Diagnostics. "Our distribution agreement with BB\nMedical in Russia is expected to be the first of several distribution\nagreements in new geographic territories. Ultimately, these alliances will\ndrive the adoption of our unique product globally, both as a stand-alone\nproduct, and also in combination with therapeutics for the diagnosis,\ntreatment and monitoring of patients with endotoxemia."\n\n\nSpectral's distribution agreement with BB Medical is a result of the\nCompany's expanded collaboration agreement with Toray Medical that was\nannounced in May. Through this expanded agreement with Toray, Spectral may now\naccess Toray's distributors in other geographic territories including China,\nIndia and Canada for the sales and promotion of EAA(TM).\n\n\nAbout Spectral Diagnostics\n\n\nSpectral is a leader in the battle against sepsis.
