(TSX: SDI) today\nannounced that it will present new findings demonstrating the clinical utility\nof its EAA(TM) Endotoxin Activity Assay, the only FDA cleared diagnostic for\nthe measurement of endotoxin, at the 12th Annual Critical Care for Endotoxemia\ncongress. The conference takes place in Fukuoka, Japan from February\n28th-29th, 2008 and focuses on the role of endotoxemia in sepsis in critically\nill patients. The Company and a number of leading medical centres in Japan\nincluding the Tokyo Medical Clinic, Osaka City General Hospital and Iwate\nMedical University will each present findings using data collected with\nSpectral's EAA(TM) product that highlight the clinical utility of the\ndiagnostic.\n\n\n"More than one-third of the presentations being given at this important\nconference use data collected with our EAA(TM) and highlight the value of our\nproduct.
