[{"type":"text","content":"\n SpaceandPeople PLC\n09 August 2007\n\n\nPress Release 9 August 2007\n\n SpaceandPeople Plc\n \n ('SpaceandPeople' or 'the Company')\n\n Contract Announcement\n\n\nSpaceandPeople Plc (AIM:SAL), which facilitates and manages the sale of\npromotional space in malls and shopping centres, today announces that it has\nsigned a five year contract with ECE Projektmanagement GmbH ('ECE') of Hamburg\nto exclusively manage, market and sell all promotional opportunities initially\nin 55 shopping centers in Germany, this will increase to 67 in 2009. The deal\nwill see the number of shopping centers that SpaceandPeople manage increase from\n172 to 227.\n\nSpaceandPeople expects that it will be able to start its German operations on\nthe 1st September 2007.\n\nECE is a leading European shopping centre business and has been developing,\nplanning, building, leasing and managing shopping centres since 1965. The\nshopping centres that SpaceandPeople will manage for ECE are almost exclusively\nprestigious inner city venues within Germany's major cities and have large\nfootfalls in excess of 13 million per week combined.\n\nCommenting on the deal Matthew Bending, Joint CEO of SpaceandPeople said:\n\n'This contract is important. In addition to adding 55 new centers to our\nportfolio, it allows SpaceandPeople to export its unique business model to\nEurope's largest market.
