Announces an Update With Respect to a Farmin Agreement\n Calgary, Alberta (FSCwire) - Standard Exploration Ltd. (“Standard” or the “Corporation”) (TSX VENTURE: SDE) announces that further to its press release dated May 20, 2014, the Corporation is herein providing an update with respect to the Farmin Agreement with a large oil company. The Farmout Lands are located in southern Alberta in Townships 1 & 2, Ranges 18 & 19 W4M and the prospective zone is the lower Mississippian at depths ranging up to 1,400 metres. Based on geologic mapping and a thorough interpretation of seismic data, Standard plans to drill two vertical wells before the end of the year. With positive results, Standard will drill a horizontal leg of at least 500 metres for each of the vertical well(s).
