(\"South Star\" or the \"Company\") (TSXV: STS) (OTCQB: STSBF), is pleased to provide the Company's 2022 year in review and 2023 catalysts.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Happy 2023 to everyone! As I reflect on 2022,\n \n Charles Dickens'\n \n classic line from\n \n Tale of Two Cities\n \n comes to mine (bad pun intended), \"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way.\" South Star had a watershed year and achieved much, thanks to a lot of grit, hard work, sweat and tears from everyone involved. Our team is focused on construction that will result in our\n \n Santa Cruz Mine\n \n achieving commercial production by yearend 2023. We will deliver on our commitment to being the first new graphite production in the Americas since 1996.\n \n \n \n Santa Cruz\n \n is one of only three projects in the world that I know of that are bringing new capacity to the markets in 2023.\n \n \n In addition, our initial BamaStar work program was successful and advanced our goal towards vertically integrated, commercial production in 2027.\n \n \n I thought we would start this review by going through the key milestones laid out in our\n \n 2021 EOY Summary\n \n and benchmark the progress made. Transparency is essential...
