(“\n \n \n Sonoro\n \n \n ” or the “\n \n \n Company\n \n \n ”)\n \n \n (TSXV:SNV.H)\n \n \n is pleased to update shareholders on progress relating the\npreviously announced Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (“WCSB”)\nFarm-In Agreement (the “Agreement”).\n \n \n \n \n Sonoro has provided notice to it’s Farmee partner\nthat it has elected to drill the first well under the Farmin Letter\nAgreement in Saskatchewan. Such election notice satisfies the election\ndate provisions within the Farmin Agreement.\n \n \n \n \n Sonoro’s newly created Canadian subsidiary, Sonoro\nEnergy Canada Ltd., (“Sonoro Canada”), has been approved by the\nSaskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources (“MER”) to conduct\noperations in the Province of Saskatchewan.  In addition to this\napproval, Sonoro has also finalized the selection of its first three\ndrilling locations (of the initial 5 well commitment and carry) and\nhas secured the services to survey, acquire surface access, and obtain\ndrilling permit for the first well location.  Sonoro has also secured\nthe necessary services required to proceed in the contracting of\ndrilling and completion services for the well with an expected spud\ndate in later half of September 2023 which will satisfy the September\n30, 2023 spud date commitment of its first well.\n \n \n \n \n Sonoro will provide further updates as it progresses\nits drilling program.\n \n \n \n \n Forward-looking\nStatements\n \n \n \n \n Certain information in this news release constitutes\nforward-looking statements under applicable securities laws.
