Senior Management Appointment and Succession Planning

As a first step in its succession planning, Somero® is pleased to announce that Jesse Aho has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Global Operations and New Product Development with effect from 1 June 2024. Most recently, Mr. Aho held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations since 10 February 2020 and has held a number of progressively advancing operational positions since joining the Company in 2008. As part of the role change, Mr. Aho assumes immediate oversight of new product development from Jack Cooney who has served as Chief Executive Officer since 1997.

Mr. Cooney will continue to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer and as an executive Director on the Company's Board, assuring an effective and seamless transition of responsibilities to Mr. Aho. Mr. Cooney will continue to guide the long-term vision and strategy of the business with particular focus on new product development initiatives.

Jack Cooney, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, commented:
