('Finavera\n Renewables' or the 'Company') (TSX-V: FVR) is pleased to announce\n the completion of its 2010 Annual General Meeting ("AGM"). Shareholders\n re-appointed Hein Poulus (Chairman), Jason Bak (CEO), Ian Harvey, Olga\n Ilich, and David Lamont to the Board of Directors. All of the proposed\n resolutions were passed at the AGM including the approval of the\n Company's rolling stock option plan and the Shareholder Rights Plan,\n which was filed on SEDAR on September 15, 2010.\n \n\n Finavera Renewables CEO Jason Bak states, "This has been an exciting\n year for our company with the award of four long term Electricity\n Purchase Agreements from BC Hydro totaling 301 megawatts. Our path to\n commercial operation and revenue is now clear and we are working\n diligently to finalize turbine supply, project finance, environmental\n applications, and First Nations partnerships. We have focused our team\n on delivering these projects, but we are also looking towards new growth\n opportunities.
