Houston – Solanbridge Group Inc (OTC: SLNX) is pleased to announce that it has hired Mr. Keith McGuire as SLNX’s Director of Security.  McGuire will be charge of developing all security operations and plans for SLNX’s medical marijuana facility in Eastern Canada.

Earle G. Hickey, President of Solanbridge Group NS, Inc., stated, “We are happy to announce the hiring of Mr. McGuire as our Director of Security.  Keith brings over 40 years of experience in law enforcement and security.  He will be providing our company invaluable knowledge and experience. We look forward to working with him and further developing our business plan.”

McGuire joins SLNX after a full career as a Regular Member of the RCMP retiring at the S/Sgt. Rank in December of 2007. From January of 2008 until October of 2013 Keith continued to work for the RCMP as a Civilian Employee in their Nova Scotia Headquarters as the Readiness and Response Co-ordinator in the Criminal Operations Branch. In this capacity he was responsible for all Operational Emergency Plans, the Business Continuity Plans for the N.S RCMP and the Integrated BCP with the Halifax Regional Police. All Major Event Plans and the SAFE School/Lockdown Plans for all Schools, Universities and Community Colleges in RCMP Jurisdictions in Nova Scotia.

Highlights during Keith’s Career in the RCMP were his duties as the Site Commander for the Swissair Recovery Operations in Peggy’s Cove, N.S. and also his duties as the Site Commander for the MK Airlines Disaster Recovery Operations at the Halifax International Airport. He was the Joint Co-ordinator with VIP Security for the Vancouver Olympics Torch Run in Nova Scotia. He was the Joint Motorcade Commander with VIP Security and the US Secret Service for the George W. Bush Presidential Visit to Halifax.

He wrote the Integrated Major Event Plans for Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II’s Visit to Halifax.

Keith has a strong background in Site Security Planning, is VIP Security Trained and has an extensive background in Emergency Operational Planning, Exercise Design Training from the Justice Institute of British Columbia and the Canadian School of Public Service. He is a trained Major Crime Investigator from the Canadian Police College and a former Intelligence Program Manager. He has received Critical Infrastructure Protection Training from Public Safety Canada and a Senior Management Training Course from Dalhousie University.
