[{"type":"text","content":"\n Screen Technology Group plc\n08 November 2006\n\n\n\nFor Immediate Release 8 November 2006\n\n\n SCREEN TECHNOLOGY GROUP PLC\n\n (the 'Company' or \"Screen Technology\")\n\n Initial €1.7 million order for recently launched ITrans module\n\n\n\nScreen Technology Group plc, the AIM listed designer and manufacturer of\nrevolutionary high-resolution large-screen displays for high ambient light\nenvironments, is pleased to announce that the Company has secured a major\ncommercial order for its proprietary ITrans tiles from Sambers Italia S.p.A.,\nwhich trades as Hantarex Electronic Systems (\"Hantarex\"), a leading\ninternational company based in Milan manufacturing and supplying flat screen\ndisplay systems.\n\n\nThe order has an initial value of €1.7m for delivery in the first half of 2007.\nThe tiles will be used to create high-resolution ITrans display modules to\nsupply to Hantarex's own customer base. This is Screen Technology's first major\nOEM partnership. Hantarex has made a significant investment in a dedicated\nproduction facility at its Milan plant with the capacity to produce 5,000\ndisplay modules a year (representing circa 1,800 sq. metres of display). This\ninitial order is to supply the ITrans tile components for Hantarex to\nmanufacture ITrans display modules for its own customers. Hantarex will also be\nassembling display modules using ITrans tiles for Screen Technology to supply\nits own growing customer base with modular displays.\n\n\nThe ITrans modular system offers customers displays that can be configured to\nany size or aspect ratio without any compromise on image quality simply by\nseamlessly bolting together display modules. Incorporating the ground-breaking\nfeatures of Screen Technology's existing large-format displays - high\nresolution, high brightness and superior image quality - the modular system is\nideal for Hantarex's worldwide customers, which include airports, television\nstudios, railways, museums and retail environments.\n\n\nTom Jarman, Chief Executive of Screen Technology, commented :\n\n\"This first major modular order, combined with the recently announced Wilden AG\ntile manufacturing partnership, represents a major milestone for Screen\nTechnology in creating a fully scaleable production model working with top class\npartners.
