[{"type":"text","content":"\n Screen Technology Group plc\n30 October 2006\n\n\nFor Immediate Release 30 October 2006\n\n\n\n SCREEN TECHNOLOGY GROUP PLC\n\n (the 'Company' or \"Screen Technology\")\n\n ITrans screens installed in Virgin Megastores\n\n\n\nScreen Technology Group plc, the designer and manufacturer of revolutionary\nhigh-resolution large-screen displays for high ambient light environments, today\nannounces an agreement to supply its ITrans screen displays initially to 16\nVirgin Megastores in the UK.\n\n\n\nUnder the terms of a contract with Digital Screen Networks (\"DSN\"), 16 ITrans\ndigital displays, will be provided for use as a window-based in-store\nadvertising tool in Virgin Megastores in the UK. Two displays have already been\ninstalled and are operating in Virgin's flagship stores in Piccadilly Circus and\nBirmingham New Street. A third is being installed in Virgin's Manchester\nArndale Centre Megastore in time for the Centre's official re-opening in\nNovember. The remaining 13 units will be shipped to DSN by the end of the year\nin time for installation to commence in Megastores around the country early in\nthe New Year.\n\n\n\nThe 63 inch screens will promote brands, films and products to the considerable\nfootfall alongside the Virgin Megastores. Advertising on the screens is being\nhandled by Digital Screen Networks which has a five year agreement with Virgin\nto promote advertising content and which works closely with Virgin's branding\nagency, Sequoia. Microsoft X Box, Sony Pictures and EMI are already using the\nnew screens for their advertising content.\n\n\n\nITrans, the unique new technology behind Screen Technology's displays, delivers\nhigh-resolution, high-quality images, visible from short and long distances in\ndaylight. Screen Technology has recently commenced commercial production of\nITrans displays and, with its first high speed production machine currently\nbeing commissioned, it will soon be able to accept a greater number of orders\nsimilar to this.\n\n\n\nCurrent Trading\n\n\n\nThe pipeline of sales opportunities for ITrans continues to build. In addition,\nthe company is in advanced discussions with a number of OEM's and is looking\nforward to making a further announcement shortly.
