Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
The Smarter Web Company PLC announced the appointment of Albert Soleiman as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of the Board, effective immediately. Soleiman brings over 20 years of financial experience, most recently serving as CFO at CMC Markets PLC, a FTSE 250 constituent. The existing CFO, Mario Visconti, will step down as Executive Director but will transition to a new role within the company to support ongoing strategic projects. The company has adopted a policy of accepting payment in Bitcoin and explores opportunities through organic growth and corporate acquisitions, pioneering the adoption of a Bitcoin Treasury Policy into its strategy.
