(the “company” or “Skye”) is pleased to announce the opening of a Northeastern regional office in Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania. With the continued developments in this region, management determined a permanent office was necessary to further the mission of Skye Petroleum. Management expects further developments not only with potentially more operators, but with new leases under the control of Skye Petroleum. Skye is making application for an oil and gas permit in the State of Pennsylvania in order to acquire its own leases for its shareholders. Skye will not only treat and produce existing wells with its technology within these leases, but will also look for drilling opportunities. Buck Eaton, Chief Operations Officer of Skye Petroleum, said, “Skye is aggressively expanding its operations in Pennsylvania with the hiring of needed staff for administration, geology and field work. We are excited to be a part of the Sugar Grove community.” The company will be holding its annual shareholder meeting this week, on Tuesday April 5th in Jamestown, New York.
