Mr. Tompkins is a petroleum geologist/geophysicist (explorationist) with 33 years of experience in oil and gas exploration across the USA and around the world. He has managed exploration programs consisting of leasing, drilling, and exploration and has become one of the world’s top experts in remote sensing geophysics. However, his extensive exposure to complex classic and carbonate environments has accounted for his travel to such places as Israel, Africa, South America, and the Middle East. His primary focus and experience has been centered in the Gulf Coast, from Mexico to Florida, covering all trends. More specifically, he has worked in the Gulf Coast Offshore, East Texas, West Texas, North Texas, South Texas, North and South Louisiana, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota, Mississippi...
