GERALD WEBER ELECTED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Skye Petroleum, Inc. (the “company” or “Skye”) is pleased to announce that Gerald Weber was elected to the Board of Directors at the recent shareholder meeting in Jamestown, New York.  Weber will also serve the company as Chief Development Officer. 

Weber, 61, has more than 35 years experience in the oil business and brings tremendous value to the company.  He has worked and interacted with many of the largest oil companies in the world over the course of his career.  For 31 years, Weber has owned and operated his own company, TR International, Inc., an oil tool company with offices around the world.  His background also includes heavy equipment electronics and mechanics, as well as oil field production and drilling.  In addition, Weber served in the Marine Corps for six years.
