In preclinical studies involving three different species, the drug resulted in enhanced therapeutic efficacy and duration of response in lowering IOP, comparing favorably to the standard of care for treating glaucoma. Skye expects to complete dosing of the final cohort of its Phase 1 study of SBI-100 OE in June and report data in the third quarter of 2023. In the first five treatment cohorts there were no serious adverse events and mild to moderate drug-related adverse events that are typically associated with topical eye treatments.
