(Nasdaq: BIOM) (TSX: BRA) today\nannounced that Robert Aubrey, Vice-President Marketing and Business\nDevelopment, is to present at the Bio-Europe 2005 meeting being held in\nDresden, Germany. Mr. Aubrey's partnering presentation is scheduled to be held\non November 8, 2005 at 5:45 CET.\nMr. Aubrey's presentation will focus on in-licensing opportunities sought\nby Biomira as well as out-licensing opportunities:\n- Liposomal Interleukin-2 (L-IL-2), available through Oncodigm BioPharma\n Inc., Biomira's spin-off company;\n- Biomira's synthetic adjuvants; and\n- Biomira's early stage licensing opportunity, BGLP40 Liposome Vaccine\n (L-BGLP40).\n\nMr. Aubrey will also highlight data announced last week on the Company's\nlead product candidate, BLP25 Liposome Vaccine (L-BLP25), a MUC1-based\nliposomal vaccine program in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Data from a\nphase 2b study show that patients with Stage IIIB locoregional NSCLC have a\nmedian survival of 30.6 months for the vaccine arm compared to 13.3 months for\nthose not receiving the vaccine.
