[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 9277D Dawnay, Day Sirius 22 September 2008 \n \n \n\nDawnay, Day Sirius Limited\n\nAppointment of Non-executive Director\nCompletion of acquisition of stake in Asset Manager by Principle Capital\n\n\nFurther to the announcement on 11 August, the Board of Dawnay Day Sirius Limited ('the Company'), the AIM quoted property investment company, is pleased to announce that Principle Capital Partners Limited has completed the acquisition of 48 per cent. of the issued share capital in Dawnay, Day Sirius Real Estate Asset Management Limited, now renamed Principle Capital Sirius Real Estate Asset Management Limited ('PCSREAM'), the asset manager of the Company, and a 48 per cent. interest in Marba Holland BV, the vehicle which was established to receive performance fees that may become payable to Marba Holland BV in respect of the Company's property portfolio.\n \nFollowing completion of the PCSREAM and Marba Holland BV acquisitions, the Board of the Company is pleased to announce that Brian Alan Myerson has been appointed to the Board as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Brian Myerson will not receive a salary for this role.\n\nBrian Myerson is Chief Executive Officer of the Principle Capital group. Brian co-founded Principle Capital in November 2004 and has been a director of several listed UK companies, including Liberty plc (2000 to date), Greycoat plc (1994 to 1996) and Marylebone Warwick Balfour Group Plc (2002 to 2005), where he was Chairman. He was also a Non-Executive Director of Sage Group Limited, a South African listed life assurance and financial services business, from 2003 to 2004.\n\nDick Kingston, Chairman of Dawnay, Day Sirius Limited, said: 'We are delighted to welcome Brian to the Board. Brian, as CEO of Principle Capital, brings extensive property expertise to Sirius, as well as long term commitment and support.
