[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nMONTREAL, July 6 /CNW Telbec/ - Officers of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. are\npleased to announce that an exploration program is presently being carried out\non its fully-owned KUKAMES and OPINACA NORTH properties which are located in\nthe vicinity of the Eleonore gold discovery of Virginia Gold Mines Inc. The\nprogram includes detailed bottom-lake sediment sampling, prospecting and\ngeological reconnaissance. Furthermore, the OPINACA NORTH gold property has\nnow been expanded to 344 claims (212 pending) in two separate claim blocks\nwhich cover approximately 180 square kilometers (45,000 acres).\nSIRIOS now controls 1,521 claims covering close to 800 square kilometers\n(20,000 acres) of high potential ground in four projects in the Eleonore\nDiscovery region : CHEECHOO, SHARKS, KUKAMES and OPINACA NORTH. The two first\nprojects are already subject to option agreements (Press release : February 7,\n2005) and an airborne magnetic and electromagnetic survey has been recently\ncompleted. Additional work is planned this summer.\n\nThe properties of SIRIOS in the area of the Eleonore gold discovery are\nshown on the map available on the web at :\nhttp://www.sirios.com/sirios/docs/opinaca_map.jpg\n\nPONTAX PROJECT :\n----------------\n\nA first till sampling program was recently completed on the PONTAX\nproperty; a total of 146 till samples were collected and sent for processing\nto the laboratories of IOS Services GDeoscientifiques in Chicoutimi, QuDebec.\nThis metals and diamond project is held jointly and explored with DIOS\nEXPLORATION INC. (TSX V: DOS) (Press release : June 8, 2005). The property\ncovers close to 500 square kilometers (125,000 acres, 912 claims)\n350 kilometers north of Matagami along the paved road going to Radisson.\n\nOPTIONS GRANTED :\n-----------------\n\nA total of 890,000 share purchase options at $ 0,15 per share were voted\non July 5, 2005 by the Board to some directors, officers and employees.
