(TSX-\nV:SOI) are pleased to announce the acquisition of additional new claims in the\nvicinity of the Eleonore gold discovery of Virginia Gold Mines Inc. The\nKAMES gold property has now been expanded to 600 claims (290 pending)\ncovering 320 square km (80,000 acres).\nDetailed bottom-lake sediment sampling and prospecting in the fore-coming\nweeks on the KUKAMES and OPINACA NORTH fully-owned properties of SIRIOS.\nSIRIOS controls now 1,309 claims covering more than 680 square km\n(170,000 acres) of high potential ground in four projects in the Eleonore\nDiscovery region : CHEECHOO, SHARKS, KUKAMES and OPINACA NORTH. Two projects\nare under option : the CHEECHOO project with partner Golden Valley Mines Ltd.,\nand the SHARKS project being farmed out to Canadian Royalties Inc. Both\nfarming in partners must spend respectively a minimum 1M$ of exploration\nexpenditures on each property before gaining a minimum of 60% interest (Press\nreleases : December 3 and 16, 2004; January 20 and February 7, 2005).\nThe KUKAMES property is located about 25 km southeast of the Eleonore\ngold discovery of Virginia. The KUKAMES property was selected following study\nof the public geological, geochemical and geophysical regional data. It is\ncentered on a diorite with a characteristic good magnetic signature and is in\ncontact with meta-sedimentary rocks. Two pluri-kilometric gold anomalies in\nlake sediments occur on the property along NW-SE geophysical lineaments. An\nextensive (30 km x 5 km) copper lake sediment anomaly seems related with the\nmagnetic diorite. The property covers more than 40 km of favorable strike\nlength close to the limit of the La Grande and the Opinaca Archean geological\nsub-provinces.\nThe four properties of SIRIOS are shown on the map available on the web\nat :\nhttp://www.sirios.com/sirios/docs/opinaca_map.jpg\n\nSIRIOS is exploring for precious and base metals in Quebec.
