Western Pacific Reports Historic Sampling of up to 18.5 g/t Gold at Upper Deer Trail Mine

About this update from Silver X Mining Corp

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Aug. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Western Pacific Resources Corp. (\"Western\" - WRP: TSXV) is pleased to report Goldfields' historic sampling results from the\n Upper Deer Trail Mine in Piute County, Utah. The grades ranged from\n trace to 18.5 grams gold per ton (0.539 opt) and from 1.2 to 476 grams\n silver per ton (13.88 opt).\n\n\nWestern is encouraged by the number of high grade assays revealed by\n these samples as they are spread over several stopes in the 800 foot\n sample area. The Upper Mine was mined for over 3000 feet and historic\n maps show that gold and silver grades tended to increase the further\n miners went into the mountain. A link to an overview map of the samples\n can be seen at:\n\n\nhttp://www.westernpacificresources.com/i/pdf/UpperDTM-SamplingGF.pdf\n\n\nResults from historic sampling undertaken by Goldfields Mining Company\n in 1987-1988 are presented in the table below.\n\n\nWestern is not treating these historical sampling results as current,\n however believes they can be used as a guide for its ongoing sampling\n program for both the Upper and Lower Deer Trail Mines.\n\n\n\n\n\nSamples\n\n\nAu (oz/t)\n\n\nAg (oz/t)\n\n\nSamples\n\n\nAu (oz/t)\n\n\nAg (oz/t)\n\n\nPU-1\n\n\n0.010\n\n\n18.6\n\n\nPU-62\n\n\n0.018\n\n\n0.2\n\n\nPU-2\n\n\n0.145\n\n\n0.5\n\n\nPU-63\n\n\n0.231\n\n\n2.5\n\n\nPU-3\n\n\n0.170\n\n\n217.3\n\n\nPU-64\n\n\n0.106\n\n\n0.9\n\n\nPU-4\n\n\n0.007\n\n\n4.0\n\n\nPU-65\n\n\n0.230\n\n\n5.3\n\n\nPU-5\n\n\n0.007\n\n\n13.1\n\n\nPU-66\n\n\n0.019\n\n\n0.8\n\n\nPU-6\n\n\n0.011\n\n\n6.7\n\n\nPU-67\n\n\n0.096\n\n\n1.6\n\n\nPU-7\n\n\n0.101\n\n\n6.6\n\n\nPU-68\n\n\n0.365\n\n\n1.8\n\n\nPU-8\n\n\n0.023\n\n\n6.6\n\n\nPU-69\n\n\n0.003\n\n\n0.2\n\n\nPU-9\n\n\n0.003\n\n\n0.2\n\n\nPU-70\n\n\n0.020\n\n\n1.4\n\n\nPU-10\n\n\n0.055\n\n\n1.0\n\n\nPU-71\n\n\n0.444\n\n\n6.9\n\n\nPU-11\n\n\n0.020\n\n\n4.7\n\n\nPU-72\n\n\n0.005\n\n\n0.4\n\n\nPU-12\n\n\n0.013\n\n\n1.2\n\n\nPU-73\n\n\n0.003\n\n\n2.1\n\n\nPU-13\n\n\n0.002\n\n\n0.4\n\n\nPU-74\n\n\n0.006\n\n\n2.5\n\n\nPU-14\n\n\n0.012\n\n\n0.8\n\n\nPU-75\n\n\n0.008\n\n\n0.2\n\n\nPU-15\n\n\n0.183\n\n\n1.7\n\n\nPU-76\n\n\n0.000\n\n\n0.0\n\n\nPU-16\n\n\n0.010\n\n\n0.1\n\n\nPU-77\n\n\n0.006\n\n\n0.3\n\n\nPU-17\n\n\n0.084\n\n\n2.3\n\n\nPU-78\n\n\n0.012\n\n\n0.6\n\n\nPU-18\n\n\n0.028\n\n\n1.1\n\n\nPU-79\n\n\n0.019\n\n\n0.7\n\n\nPU-19\n\n\n0.038\n\n\n4.7\n\n\nPU-80\n\n\...
