(WRP - TSXV) is pleased to announce that drilling has begun on its Mineral Gulch\n project in southern Idaho.\n\n\nThe drill program consists of 33 drill sites and will total\n approximately 10,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling. The drill\n holes will test both the surface oxide and the deeper carbonaceous\n mineralization.\n\n\n"We look forward to better understanding both the surface and subsurface\n geology and mineralization by drilling several of the anomalous gold\n areas throughout the project area", says Curt Everson, Exploration\n Manager for Western Pacific.  "It has been +15 years since the property\n has seen a drill rig and we are excited to begin our drilling program."\n\n\nAbout Mineral Gulch\n\n\nMineral Gulch is located in Cassia County, Idaho, along the southeast\n edge of the Black Pine Mountains, approximately 80 km southeast of\n Burley, Idaho near the Idaho/Utah border. Western Pacific Resources\n Corp. controls 100% of the project which was acquired through the\n staking of 345 unpatented mining claims. The project encompasses the\n historic Black Pine Mining District and surrounding exploration ground.\n\n\nSporadic small-scale gold and base-metal mining occurred in the area as\n early as 1915.
