[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTHUNDER BAY, ON, Nov. 23 /CNW/ - Benton Resources Corp. ("Benton") is\npleased to report that high grade zinc assays have been received from the\nRuby Hill showing on the Gem project located 140 kilometres north of\nThunder Bay, Ontario. Nine grab samples taken over a 300 metre strike length\nalong the new discovery returned zinc (Zn) values ranging from 46 to\n130423 ppm (13% Zn; ppm (equal sign) parts per million), 109 to 6287 ppm nickel (0.63%\nNi), and 132 to 6413 ppm lead (0.64% Pb). The Ruby Hill showing occurs in an\narea of multiple coincident airborne magnetic highs and EM conductors\nassociated with Archean-aged volcanic stratigraphy. Grid establishment is now\nbeing planned to be followed by ground geophysics to better define potential\ndiamond drill targets. A mechanical trenching program was initiated but\ncancelled early due to inclement weather. Four other prospected areas located\nand sampled 0.5 to 6 kilometres from the Ruby Hill showing are currently being\ncompiled.\n\n\nAnalytical Method\n\n\nAll samples were submitted to ISO:17025 accredited Accurassay\nLaboratories of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Precious metal values were extracted\nusing aqua regia digestion with atomic absorption finish and an inductively\ncoupled plasma finish for multi element analyses.\n\n\nBenton would also like to announce that Teck Cominco Limited has elected\nnot to continue the option to earn in on Benton's Saganaga and Q-9 gold\nproject thus leaving Benton with 100% interest in the project. Benton is\nplanning a drill program to follow up on Teck Cominco's last drill hole which\nintersected 5.5 grams per tonne (gpt) gold over 20 metres drilled in\nDecember 2006. Another areas that Benton will follow up is the Powell vein\nwhere drilling by a previous operator intersected 30 gpt over 5.9 metres.\n\n\nClinton Barr (P.Geo.), V.P.
