About this update from Silver Valley Metals Corp

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTHUNDER BAY, ON, Nov. 2 /CNW/ - Benton Resources Corp. ("Benton") is\npleased to report that the last batch of assays have been received for grab\nsamples collected from this past summer's exploration program at the\nKingurutik Lake (previously King Lake) property in Labrador which it holds\nwith joint venture partner Teck Cominco Limited ("Teck Cominco"). The results\nfurther confirm the presence of copper (Cu), nickel (Ni) and cobalt (Co)\nmineralization associated with numerous, separate conductive zones across this\nlarge project currently being explored by the joint venture.\n\n\nThe new results, which are for samples collected from several smaller but\nsignificant conductive areas show individual grab sample assays up to 6.0% Cu,\n1.18% Ni and 0.26% Co. These significant new results continue to confirm the\npotential on the property for the discovery of a large magmatic Cu, Ni and Co\ntype deposit.\n\n\nTo date, a total of 324 grab samples have been collected from several\nconductive target areas identified by an AeroTEM survey completed in April\n2007. The target zones outlined by the airborne survey have been labeled\nalphabetically A through V and sample results for these targets, along with a\nlocation map, have been posted on Benton's Web site at www.bentonresources.ca.\n\n\nThe company remains excited about the project as the results demonstrate\nthat most of the high priority electromagnetic anomalies have associated\ncopper-nickel-cobalt mineralization.\n\n\nIn addition, the joint venture has now completed partial ground\ngeophysical (UTEM) surveying over several targets on the property to better\ndefine some of the large conductive zones (as defined by the airborne survey)\nand to prioritize potential diamond drill targets. Results from the survey\nwill be released when received and compiled.\n\n\nClinton Barr (P.Geo.), V.P. Exploration for Benton Resources Corp., is\nthe qualified person responsible for this release.\n\n\nOn behalf of the Board of Directors of Benton Resources Corp.\n\n\n"Stephen Stares"\n\n\nStephen Stares, President\n\n\nTHE TSX VENTURE EXCHANGE HAS NOT REVIEWED AND DOES NOT ACCEPT\n\n\nRESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ADEQUACY OR ACCURACY OF THIS RELEASE.\n\n\nForward-looking statements in this release are made pursuant to the safe\nharbor provisions of the Private ...
