(TSX:SPD) (the \"Company\") is pleased to announce results from its seventeen hole 2011 drilling\n program at the Plata Project, located in central-east Yukon.  A total\n of 2,565 m of angled NTW-sized core tested for the continuation of\n structure and grade in three Zones: Aho, Etzel and P2.  One hole was\n drilled into an untested Zone, P12, to delineate a source for surface\n rock samples carrying high grades of silver and lead.\n\n\nSignificant results include: \n\n\nPL11-59 with 12.61 m of 151 g/t silver from a depth of 31.39m;\n\n\nPL11-62 with 20.86 m of 86.6 g/t silver from a depth of 49.91m;\n\n\nPL11-63 with 5.47 m of 215 g/t silver from a depth of 41.15m;\n\n\nPL11-66 with 2.35 m of 453 g/t silver and 17.46% zinc from a depth of\n 53.54m; and\n\n\nPL11-68 with 31.86 m of 31 g/t silver, 10.25% zinc from a depth of\n 29.35m. \n\n\nA complete table of results, including a more comprehensive geological\n discussion and location map can be found on the Company's website athttp://www.silverpredator.com/documents/SPD-NR01-12-Plata-drill-Results-2011.pdf\n\n\n2011 Plata Drill Program Summary\nThe Company's 2011 drilling program targeted two known mineralized Zones\n (Etzel and P2) and tested for mineralization along two structures (P12\n and Aho).\n\n\nPlata  Project\nThe Plata project lies within the Selwyn Basin in east-central Yukon and\n is 140 km west of the Keno Hill Silver District, the second largest\n historic silver producer in Canada. From 1976 to 1984, high-grade\n mineralized veins were intermittently mined from a number of shallow\n open pits on the Plata property, resulting in a reported 9,020 kg\n (290,000 oz.) of silver being extracted from approximately 2,041 tonnes\n of hand-sorted mineralized rock.  Mineralization is found as\n silver-rich galena, freibergite and sphalerite within a quartz-siderite\n gangue in three host rock settings: 1) along structural and competency\n contrasts between quartz rich sediments of the Hyland Group and\n carbonaceous shale of the Earn Group; 2) within calcareous units of the\n Earn Group; and 3) within Cretaceous felsic dykes related to the\n Tombstone Suite. Fault/vein trends on the property vary from east-west\n trending low angle faults to steeply dipping northeast trend...
