[{"type":"text","content":"\n Messaging International Plc\n26 July 2006\n\n\n Messaging International Plc / Market: AIM / Epic: MES / Sector: Technology\n\n26 July 2006\n\n Messaging International Plc\n\n Partners with leading US Mobile Operator\n\n\nMessaging International Plc ('Messaging International' or 'the Company'), the\nAIM-traded provider of innovative messaging services, announces that a second\nleading US mobile operator has launched Messaging International's proprietary\nText to Landline solution. The service enables customers to send text messages,\nwhich are converted to automated voice and delivered to any landline phone in\nthe US. The recipient can then send a voice message reply, which the original\nsender can retrieve through a text message alert. Messaging International will\nreceive a percentage of the revenues received from every message delivered.\n\n\nHoracio Furman, Chairman Messaging International said: 'We are delighted to be\nworking with several large tier 1 carriers in the US. This deal underlines our\ncommitment to building our international presence and represents a valuable\nadditional income stream for the business. We continue to make strong progress\nin securing similar agreements with other global wireless operators and\ninteroperability providers to increase our market reach, improve our competitive\nedge and boost revenue.'\n\n\nThe Text to Landline service converts text messages into voice format for\ndelivery to landline phones. When a Text to Landline call is answered, an\nautomated voice system delivers the message, and provides the wireless phone\nnumber of the message sender. If the recipient has Caller ID display service,\nthe wireless phone number of the message sender will appear. The recipient can\nthen replay to the message, send a voice message reply to the original sender,\nor terminate the call.\n\n\nMeanwhile, the wireless user (original sender) will receive a confirmation text\nmessage advising that their message has been successfully delivered, whether it\nwas delivered to an answering system or a live person, and whether a reply was\nsent back. If a reply was sent, the mobile user can call into a unique telephone\nnumber to listen to the response.\n\n\n * * ENDS * *\n\n\nContacts:\n\nGuy Levit Messaging International Plc Tel: + 972 544 449 951\n\nIsabel Crossley St Brides Media & Finance Ltd Tel...
