[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 5694U Edenville Energy PLC 08 April 2016 \n\n8 April 2016\nEDENVILLE ENERGY PLC\n(\"Edenville\" or the \"Company\")\n \nResignation of Director\n \nEdenville Energy plc (AIM:EDL), the Company developing a coal-to-power project in south west Tanzania announces the resignation of Sally Schofield, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company. \nSally has made the decision to resign for personal reasons and to allow her to fully manage her personal commitments outside of Edenville. Sally's contract provides for one month's notice during which time she will be ensuring an orderly transfer of responsibilities to the Company's CEO Rufus Short who will assume the responsibilities of Chairman whilst options for the appointment of a new permanent Chairman are considered. Sally will also remain available to assist the Company on a consultancy basis as required. \nThe Company would sincerely like to thank Sally for her strong contribution and dedication during her time with Edenville. Sally has been with the Company since its formation in March 2010 when the Rukwa deposit was largely unexplored. She has given significant guidance and strong support throughout this time, first as a Non-Executive Director and later as full time Executive Chairman before moving to Non-Executive Chairman in June 2015. \nSally leaves the Company in a strong position moving forward.
