Laboratory Results of Field Samples at Kabwe Mine

Shuka Minerals Plc has announced updated laboratory results from the Kabwe Zinc Mine, confirming consistently high zinc and lead grades at surface, with zinc reaching up to 42.89% and lead up to 6.10%. These findings support previous analyses and indicate the presence of substantial high-grade material, comparing favourably to historical mining averages. The company is awaiting further results from samples currently being tested. Disclaimer*

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n \n27 February 2026\nShuka Minerals Plc\n(\"Shuka'' or the \"Company\")\n \nLaboratory Results of Field Samples at Kabwe Mine\nShuka Minerals Plc (AIM/AltX: SKA), an African focused mine operator and developer, is pleased to announce that, further to its announcement of 19 March 2025, it has received the assay results for certain samples from the Kabwe Zinc Mine (\"Kabwe Mine\") which had previously exceeded the upper detection limits of the initial testing.\nTen surface samples collected from outcrop and artisanal workings were initially analysed by ALS (Johannesburg), using 48-element ICP analysis. Certain samples exceeded the upper detection limits for zinc and lead under that method. Eight lead samples exceeding the detection limit (>1% Pb) were re-analysed at ALS (Johannesburg) using four-acid ICP-AES. Two zinc samples exceeding the detection limit (>30% Zn) were re-analysed at ALS (Vancouver) using titration methods.\nThe following results were received on 25 February 2026 from the respective laboratories:\n\n\n\n\nSample\n\n\nZinc (Zn) %\n\n\nLead (Pb) %\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 001\n\n\n\n\n\n1.235\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 002\n\n\n\n\n\n6.10\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 003\n\n\n\n\n\n3.31\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 005\n\n\n\n\n\n3.88\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 006\n\n\n42.89\n\n\n1.345\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 007\n\n\n\n\n\n1.385\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 008\n\n\n\n\n\n1.180\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 009\n\n\n34.66\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 010\n\n\n\n\n\n1.320\n\n\n\n\n \nThe results continue to demonstrate consistently high zinc and lead grades at surface, with zinc values reaching up to 42.89% and lead values up to 6.10%, supporting the earlier results provided by ALS.\nThese grades compare favourably with historical mining averages and confirm the presence of substantial high-grade material at surface.\nThe previously announced 48 element sample results from ALS returned the following results:\n\n\n\n\nSample\n\n\nZn\n(%)\n\n\nPb\n(%)\n\n\nAg\n(ppm)\n\n\nCe\n(ppm)\n\n\nCs\n(ppm)\n\n\nGa\n(ppm)\n\n\nMn\n(ppm)\n\n\nMo\n(ppm)\n\n\nRb\n(ppm)\n\n\nSn\n(ppm)\n\n\nV\n(ppm)\n\n\nY\n(ppm)\n\n\n\n\nKAB 25 001.
