[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 9461H Edenville Energy PLC 24 August 2016 \n\n24 August 2016\n \n \n \nEDENVILLE ENERGY PLC\n(\"Edenville\" or the \"Company\")\n \nAppointment of Chairman\n \nEdenville Energy plc (AIM: EDL) the company developing a coal to power project in south western Tanzania, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Malaihollo as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company from 1 September 2016.\n \nDr Jeffrey Francis Anthony Malaihollo, aged 50, is a geologist with over 22 years of technical, management and entrepreneurial experience in the mining sector. Jeff is currently Managing Director of ASX-listed Arc Exploration and a director of TSX-V listed Copper Lake Resources and of private companies Equator Gold and Sarinah Resources. Jeff also has experience as an investment banking mining analyst, as well as having worked as a geologist for several mining companies including Rio Tinto and Newcrest Mining. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM) and the Geological Society of London (FGS).\n \n \nRufus Short, CEO of Edenville Energy plc, commented: \"I am delighted to welcome Jeff to the Board of Edenville.
