[{"type":"text","content":" HSINCHU, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--\nSemiLEDs Corporation (NASDAQ: LEDS), “SemiLEDs” or the “Company,” a developer and manufacturer of LED chips and LED components, today announced its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2020, ended May 31, 2020.\n\n\nRevenue for the third quarter of fiscal 2020 was $1.6 million, a 2% increase compared to $1.5 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2020. GAAP net loss attributable to SemiLEDs stockholders for the third quarter of fiscal 2020 was $513 thousand, compared to a gain of $348 thousand in the second quarter of fiscal 2020, or a net loss of $0.14 per diluted share, compared to a net gain of $0.08 per diluted share for the second quarter of fiscal 2020.\n\n\nGAAP gross margin for the third quarter of fiscal 2020 was 27%, compared with gross margin for the second quarter of fiscal 2020 of 36%. Operating margin for the third quarter of fiscal 2020 was negative 47%, compared with negative 26% in the second quarter of fiscal 2020.
