[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTSX-V: SGZ\n\n\nVANCOUVER, June 2 /CNW/ - Sego Resources reports that additional assay\nresults have been received from the 3200 metre excavator trenching program on\nits Miner Mountain Project. The trenching and reclamation is contracted to the\nUpper Similkameen Indian Band and its highly qualified personnel. Consulting\nis being provided by Vic Preto, Ph.D., P.Eng. These results are from what has\nbeen known as the Regal Zone. This trench is the most westerly of the trenches\nto encounter mineralization along an east west trend that continues through\nthe Granby Zone. Sego Resources Inc. suspects that the Regal and Granby Zones\nmay link together and have planned further trenching to be followed by diamond\ndrilling to determine if the zones do, in fact, link together. Supporting the\npossibility that the zones may link is a comment in the 1908 Annual Report of\nthe Minister of Mines in British Columbia page J-130, which states\n"Development consists of three tunnels, two shafts and a series of open cuts,\nextending for almost a mile along the cropping of the large copper-gold\nbearing lead, which strikes across the property in a west-east direction.\nAbout 500 feet of underground work has been completed disclosing extensive\nbodies of ore and coal. ... The lead, so far as determined is from 100 to\n150 feet in width and shows up for about one mile within the limits of the\nproperty." The company developing this showing was primarily a coal company\nand with the lack of a coal market all work was terminated.\n\n\nA number of the samples in this trench ran (greater than)10,000 ppm\ncopper which is the upper limit of accuracy for ICP methods. For this reason\nSego Resources Inc. re-assayed copper highs for total copper, and gold/silver\nhighs by fire assay with an ICP finish. These results are in the table. Sample\ndesignation: C(equal sign)1 metre rock chip sample, R(equal sign)Rock grab sample taken from spoil\nwhere trench was too deep and unstable to safely enter for chip sampling.\n\n\n Weight KG Cu % Au GM/T Ag GM/T\nMM08TR49C01 Rock 1.51 0.41 0.13 (less than)2.00\nMM08TR49C02 Rock 1.69 0.91 0.24 (less than)2.00\nMM08TR49C03 Rock 1.50 0.10 0.04 (less than)2.00\nMM08TR49C04 Rock 1.52 0.03 0.01 (less than)2.00\nMM08TR49C05 Rock 1.25 0.09 0.04 (less than)2.00\nMM08TR49C06 Rock 1.31 1.06 0.40 6.00\nMM08TR49C...
