(SRI), are\npleased to announce that they have signed a comprehensive Memorandum of\nUnderstanding (MOU) to enable the exploration and potential future mine\ndevelopment of the Miner Mountain property immediately northeast of Princeton,\nBC.\n\n\nThis MOU supports the USIB's principles of environmental stewardship,\neconomic sustainability and self-determination. It also commits both parties\nto working collaboratively throughout the process of mineral exploration and\ndevelopment for lands under provincial tenure to SRI. Importantly, the\nagreement recognizes and respects the aboriginal title and rights of the USIB\nto the lands comprising the Miner Mountain property.\n\n\nThis comprehensive agreement demonstrates that large new exploration\nprojects such as Miner Mountain can be developed with the active support of\nthe local First Nation communities if there is a long-term commitment to\nestablish a cooperative and mutually beneficial working relationship.\n\n\n"SRI's commitment to open, transparent and mutually beneficial\nrelationships with local communities is at the heart of SRI's strategy for\nsuccessful resource development and we are very proud to be working with the\nUSIB in the Miner Mountain project," says J. It will provide certainty for local communities,\ninvestors and SRI alike that Miner Mountain will be explored with the support\nand involvement of USIB.
