(\"Cliffs\") to commence a trial of its Driver State System (\"DSS\") fatigue and distraction monitoring solution at their Koolyanobbing operations in the Yilgarn Region, Western Australia.\n \nThe technology will be installed into 6 road trains for a 90 day fatigue assessment trial which, once completed, could see a larger scale rollout across the fleet. The value of this deployment is over AUD$150,000. Cliffs has iron ore and coal mines in North America as well as the iron ore mining complex in Western Australia, and always operates under a framework of strong core values of which Safe Production plays a pivotal role.\n \nKen Kroeger, Seeing Machines' CEO, said:\n \n\"We are delighted to be working with Cliffs Natural Resources and launching another trial with such a great global company. There are not very many companies in the world with such impressive mine and transport logistics portfolios. We believe that the DSS technology is a great fit, as their 160 year business history is underpinned by core values that take safe production very seriously. Cliffs made their selection through a process that evaluated our computer vision based technology against competitive products that require the operator to always wear some form of sensor.\"\n \nAbout Seeing Machines' driver safety division and DSS \n \nSeeing Machines creates face and eye tracking technology for diverse industry sectors and applications.
