Holding numerous senior management and operational positions, he has experience in all aspects of fleet logistics; sales, marketing, operations, business development, and turnaround management. \nAfter a proven track record as Vice-President and General Manager of Dedicated Services at Swift Transportation Corporation, helping grow the business from $28 million to over $400 million over his tenure, Les became CEO of Taylor Companies, the largest independent crude oil transportation company in the US, where he recruited and managed the leadership team, with the fleet size growing by 25%. Les assisted in delivering a 3.8 multiple exit for private equity investors in Taylor Companies, and supported a successful IPO by the parent company. \nRecently retired, Les serves on the board of directors of GlobalTranz, Inc., a venture capital funded, technology focussed, freight forwarding company operating in the US. \nIn 2015 Seeing Machines introduced Seeing Machines Fleet, an incident avoidance solution that helps drivers and fleet operators better manage fatigue and distraction events in real time.
