(SMY: TSX) today\nintroduced the SAMSys RFID Portal Express System, a turnkey UHF radio\nfrequency identification (RFID) portal solution for dock door environments.\nThe system permits rapid deployment of RFID capabilities at the dock door for\nsupply chain, asset tracking and inventory management applications.\nThe SAMSys RFID Portal Express System bundles an EPC Gen 2 compliant,\nmulti-protocol SAMSys MP9320 v2.8 reader with antennas, cables, a light stack,\na motion sensor, and a heavy-duty steel framework that houses and protects all\nRFID equipment from errant forklifts.\nThe framework, which can also be purchased separately, takes the form of\ntwo 10-foot-high steel tubes connected by an optional overhead bridge.\nFeatures of the SAMSys RFID Portal Express System include:\n\n - The SAMSys MP9320 v2.8 reader, offering support for Gen 2 tags as\n well as EPC Class 0, Class 1, ISO 18000-6A, ISO 18000-6B, and\n Philips UCODE 1.19 protocols.\n\n - Heavy-duty, 2\"-thick tubular steel design, providing a sturdy and\n damage-resistant framework for warehouses and distribution\n centers.
