(the “Company”) (NASDAQ: SHIP), announced today its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the quarter ended June 30, 2021, the Company generated gross revenues of $28.9 million, a 209% increase compared to the second quarter of 2020. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $11.3 million, from negative $1.8 million in the same period of 2020. Net income for the second quarter was $2.0 million compared to net loss of $11.3 million in the second quarter of 2020. The daily Time Charter Equivalent (“TCE”)1 of the fleet for the second quarter of 2021 was $20,095, marking a 270% increase compared $5,424 for the second quarter of 2020. For the six-month period ended June 30, 2021, gross revenues were $50.0 million, increased by 116% when compared to $23.1 million in same period of 2020.
