(NASDAQ: SCYX), a biotechnology company delivering innovative therapies for difficult-to-treat and often life-threatening infections, today announced that data further demonstrating the potential for ibrexafungerp to treat VVC will be presented in one oral and two ePoster presentations at the 2019 American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting (ACOG), May 3-6, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee.\nIbrexafungerp, the first representative of a novel family of compounds referred to as \"fungerps\" (antifungal triterpenoids), is being developed for oral and intravenous administration and is in clinical development for the treatment of several serious fungal infections, including VVC, invasive candidiasis, invasive aspergillosis and refractory invasive fungal infections, including Candida auris.
