Commences Summer 2024 Field Work Program\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC –\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n June 25, 2024\n \n \n –\n \n \n Scandium Canada Ltd.\n \n \n (the “Company” or\n\"Scandium Canada\")\n \n \n (\n \n \n TSX VENTURE: SCD\n \n \n )\n \n \n ;\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTCQB: SCDCF\n \n \n )\n \n \n is pleased to announce the opening of its work\ncamp at its flagship Crater Lake project in northeastern Quebec and\nthe start of the summer 2024 field work program.\n \n \n Crater Lake is the only active primary scandium project\nglobally.\n \n \n \n \n The Company has a permanent camp at Crater Lake that is\naccessible via helicopter or float plane.  The camp cook and general\nhandyman arrived on site June 13 to prepare.  Staff from the\nengineering firm WSP arrived June 17 to begin their environmental work\nwhich will consist of study of fauna (birds and bats)  and flora\n(inventory of vegetation and wetland to establish a baseline) and\nestablishing baselines of water quality and fish habitats. This work\nis a prerequisite for the environmental permitting process. It will be\ndone by different WSP teams this summer and some of the work will\ninclude fieldwork in 2025.\n \n \n \n \n The Crater Lake site and the proposed path of the road\nfrom the mine site to the current paved road will be mapped using the\nLiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology. The resulting\ninformation will be used to help plan out in detail the path of the\nproposed road and to accurately plan the infrastructure of the Crater\nLake permanent camp and\n \n \n facilities.\n \n \n \n \n Finally, later this month a drilling\n \n \n campaign will be undertaken that will include geomechanical\ndrilling and conversion drilling\n \n \n .\n \n \n Drilling equipment and personnel are being mobilized.  The\ndrilling is expected to start by the end of June.  The Company will\nupdate the market as the drilling progresses.\n \n \n \n \n Guy Bourassa, CEO of Scandium Canada, said,\n\"\n \n \n \n \n We are\npleased to begin our summer field work campaign as it will provide\nre        quired information ...
