[{"type":"text","content":" BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--\nSBA Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: SBAC) (“SBA” or the “Company”) provided notice today of an update to the location for the Company’s 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the “Annual Meeting”).\n\n\nDue to the public health impact of, business closures ordered by governmental authorities as a result of, and travel concerns related to, the COVID-19 pandemic, the Annual Meeting will be held in a virtual only meeting format on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Online access to the meeting will begin at 9:45 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. You will not be able to attend the Annual Meeting in person. We expect this modification in meeting format to be effective for this year only due to the public health impact of, business closures ordered by governmental authorities as a result of, and travel concerns related to, the COVID-19 pandemic and intend to return to an in-person annual meeting in future years after public health conditions have improved.\n\n\nYou are entitled to attend the Annual Meeting if you were a shareholder of record as of the close of business on March 12, 2020 (the “Record Date”), or you are a beneficial holder on the Record Date and you register in advance and hold a legal proxy for the Annual Meeting provided by your bank, broker, or nominee.\n\n\nAttending the Annual Meeting as a Shareholder of Record\n\n\nHolders of record of SBA Class A common stock as of the Record Date (i.e., you held your shares in your own name as reflected in the records of our transfer agent, Computershare) can virtually attend the Annual Meeting by accessing www.meetingcenter.io/260346344 and entering the 15-digit control number on the Proxy Card or Notice of Internet Availability of Proxy Materials you previously received and the meeting password, SBAC2020.
