Savills PLC 18 October 2007 Savills plc ('Savills' or the 'Company') Appointment of New Group Chief Executive on Retirement of Aubrey Adams The Board of Savills announces the retirement of Aubrey Adams and the appointment of a new Group Chief Executive. Aubrey Adams, Group Chief Executive, indicated earlier this year, that after 17 years, he was considering retiring from the Board of Savills in 2008. The Board of Savills subsequently undertook a detailed succession planning exercise involving an external advisor and is pleased to announce that with effect from the Annual General Meeting on 7 May 2008, Jeremy Helsby will be Group CEO and Aubrey Adams will retire from the Board. Jeremy Helsby is a member of the Savills Board and has been Chairman of the UK and European Commercial businesses for seven years, having joined Savills in 1980. A loss of some £2.3m in 1992 has been transformed into a profit of £80m last year and the company is now a constituent of the FTSE 250.
