SFR: TSX-V VANCOUVER, July 27 /CNW/ - Starfire Minerals (the company) is pleased to announce the second phase of our current work program has commenced today. As previously announced, this program includes diamond drilling to delineate the target zones identified by past and recent work. This phase includes a total of 2,500 meters of diamond drilling to test the extension and depth of target Zones No. 2 and No. 4. Additional drilling in several potential new Uranium zones discovered during the Company's earlier ground radiometric program will also be undertaken. Concurrent with the drilling program, an additional 41 kilometers of line cutting, ground radiometrics, prospecting/rock sampling and mapping surveys will be conducted in several newly staked areas. The Company also announces that the analysis from Lakefield Laboratories for the trenching and bulk sampling program conducted in June is substantially complete. Thirty Eight (38) samples, 29 rock channel samples and 9 bulk samples, were sent to Lakefield Research for uranium - thorium analysis to determine the potential for substantial uranium mineralization on the Capri Property in Quebec, Canada. In addition, a 30 element ICP was conducted by Lakefield Laboratories. Final results are being compiled and will be reported when reviewed, finalized, and approved by the Company's Qualified Person.
