Starfire terminates option agreement on gold property

VANCOUVER, April 11 /CNW/ - Starfire Minerals Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange:
SFR) wishes to announce that further to its news release of April 7, 2005,
Starfire will not be proceeding with the optioned acquisition of the LD
property claims. As part of Starfire's due diligence procedures, it has now
conducted a review of title to the LD property. All negotiations have been
terminated as a result of the optionor's inability to confirm title to the
claims comprising the LD property.
