The\nCompany is encouraged by results to date on both the Langmuir South nickel\nzone, known from previous historical drilling, and from the new Southeast\nLangmuir prospect.\nDrilling of one hole on the Langmuir South zone has confirmed the\npresence of the historical sulphide zone. Previous historical work had\nprojected a modest tonnage extending southward from the adjacent property to\nthe north onto the Starfire claims. Additional drilling is needed to test\nprojections of this zone to depth on the Starfire claims.\nDrilling to date of two holes on a new ultramafic zone lying southeast of\nthe Langmuir South area has returned encouraging anomalous nickel sulphide\nvalues over substantial core intercepts within komatiitic ultramafic flows.\nValues of approximately 0.1% Ni occur within two to three intervals over core\nlengths of 30 to 40 meters in intersections from both drill holes. The nickel\nsulphide mineralization in this Southeast Langmuir zone appears to be\nstratigraphically controlled within a series of ultramafic flows. This major\nultramafic unit, over 375 meters in thickness, holds potential for both\ndisseminated bulk-tonnage low-grade nickel mineralization and high-grade\nmassive-sulphide nickel mineralization.\nAdditional drilling is planned for the southeast Langmuir zone in the\nnear future to test an electromagnetic conductor that parallels the structure\nof the flow layers.\nFour other drill holes penetrated conductive iron formation units and\nreturned no significant nickel mineralization.\nStarfire holds four claim blocks within the Langmuir nickel belt. Current\nproduction, exploration, and former production within the Langmuir nickel belt\nprovide Starfire management with the basis to have confidence that this area\nwarrants an extended exploration effort.\nThe Qualified Person for purposes of this press release is Arne\nBirkeland, P.Eng.\n\nStarfire Minerals Inc. includes uranium, nickel and precious & base metal\ndivisions with properties in Ontario, Quebec a...
