(TSXV: SFR) has\ncommenced fieldwork on the Capri uranium prospect near Grand Remous, Quebec.\nTo date field studies have relocated old mineralized trends explored and\ndrilled during the 1960-70s, and have also delineated a previously unmapped\n(new) zone.\nThe new zone records anomalously high scintillometer readings over\napproximately 100m long and 3m wide peaking at 36,000 cps. The spectrometer\nshowed the readings to have uranium-thorium ratios of about 4:1 in this new\narea. The current radiometric survey so far reveals two more anomalous zones\nwith scintillometer readings between 200 and 400 cps. The background values\nin this area are about 40-50 cps. Trenching and rock sampling for chemical\nanalysis are underway to determine the uranium and thorium values.\nRecent fieldwork within the area drilled in the 1960-70s (19 holes) has\nalso returned anomalous scintillometer values between 200 and 350 cps peaking\nat about 4,000 cps. The background values in this area are about 40-50 cps.\nTrenching and sampling is also being conducted in the previously mapped\nand drilled areas in order to confirm past exploration work and results at\nthese locations.\nThe five person technical team on site for the review includes F. Yacoub,\nP.Geo., D. Mark, P.Geo., A. Ciesielski, PhD, P.Geo., S. Jackson, PhD and F.\nSmith, P.Geo.
