Starfire Minerals commencing drilling on the Capri

VANCOUVER, July 5 /CNW/ - Starfire Minerals Inc. (TSXV: SFR) intends to
begin drilling on the Capri uranium prospect near Grand-Remous, Quebec
starting July 18th. SFR proposes approximately 2500m of drilling to redefine
the zones drilled during the 1970s and to test the new zones discovered by
geologists this June.
Trenching and sampling in June of 2005 redefined one previously known
showing and delineated two new areas of anomalously high scintillometer
readings. Pending positive analysis results, drilling will be conducted in
these new areas. Concurrently to the proposed drilling, radiometrics,
magnetics, trenching and sampling will be conducted in the newly acquired
claims to the east and west of the main Capri. These surveys will commence
once an additional 50km of grid in cut (for a total grid kilometers of 82km).
Lakefield Research is presently finalizing analysis for Uranium, Thorium,
Platinum-Group-Elements in addition to 28 element ICP work for 9 bulk samples
and 21 channel samples from the recent fieldwork. The work is being supervised
by Andre Ciesielski, P.Geo., who is currently preparing an updated 43-101
report based on the results from the June program.
The geophysical survey maps (radiometric and magnetics) from the June
fieldwork will be posted on the Company's web site following final compilation
by Geotronics Ltd.

Starfire Minerals Inc. is an exploration company with 3 uranium
