[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nTrading Symbol: SFR: TSX-Venture\n\nVANCOUVER, July 20 /CNW/ - Starfire Minerals Inc. announces that drilling\nis scheduled to restart immediately on the Langmuir Southeast target area on\nits Langmuir Township property holdings, located 25 km. southeast of Timmins,\nOntario, Canada. The area lies on the southeast flank of the Shaw Dome portion\nof the productive Abitibi (Ultramafic) nickel belt.\nThis drilling is encouraged by record all-time high prices for nickel,\ncombined with renewed production from nearby mines and accelerated exploration\non nearby properties that were former nickel producers. Both high grade and\nlower grade bulk tonnage targets are being pursued. The current program will\ninvestigate sulphide zones located in two previous holes within an essentially\nuntested ultramafic belt designated the Langmuir south area.\nDisseminated and concentrated pyrrhotitic sulphide zones within the basal\nportions of a series of komatiitic flows returned encouraging sulphide nickel\nvalues. Shallow diamond drill holes will be situated to test the updip,\nshallow portions of this target horizon. A detailed magnetic gradient survey\nwill be conducted in the vicinity of the projected subcrop of the favourable\nunltramafic horizons to assist in locating any sulphidic zones.
