Starfire appoints PR firm and commencement work of the Capri property

VANCOUVER, May 19 /CNW/ - Starfire Minerals Inc. (SFR.TSX.V) is pleased
to announce the retaining of Renmark Financial Communications Inc. of
Montreal, Quebec. The agreement will commence June 1, 2005 subject to
regulatory approval.
Renmark will focus its efforts on providing investor relation services to
the Montreal financial community as well other North American financial
markets. Renmark represents a number of successful mining and exploration
companies, including several major mining companies. For further information

An exploration crew has mobilized today to commence exploration on the
Capri Uranium property, located north of Ottawa in Quebec, Starfire's 100%
acquisition of which is subject to final approval from the TSX-V. The company
will be conducting a radiometric survey, extensive trenching and sampling to
identify and verify a resource compliant with NI 43-101. A resource was
delineated by exploration work on the property in the late 1970's by various
exploration companies that was not compliant with NI 43-101. The Company has
not conducted any exploration on the property and does not know if a resource
of economical viability can be verified at this time and a possible economic
resource is conceptual in nature.
